FAQ / FESTIVAL RULES
In this page, you'll find some general questions and answers. But also some rules to respect like in all the festivals.

1. ALLOWED or FORBIDDEN

Allowed :
Photo camera (all models : digital, reflex, etc ...)
Small plastic bottle of water
Some food (keep the parking and venue clean)
Little seat (camping, ...)
Forbidden :
Dangerous items :
cans, glass bottles, knives, cutter, wristbands with big spikes, ...

Big bottles, alcool, ...
Professional video camera
2. DESK

When do I have to go to the desk ?
* For accreditations : guestlist, pass, VIP tickets
* You won a ticket : magazine, radio, ...
* You've ordered a ticket on MFVF website
* For tickets with "withdraw at the desk" option
Is the desk at same place for tickets and accred ?
YES. Be careful, there are 2 different queues :
- Tickets on your left
- Accreditations on your right
Can I buy tickets at the desk ? YES, if the festival doesn't announce a sold out on the website !
Can I buy backstage pass at the desk ? NO.

3. BUS SHUTTLE / CAR-SHARING

Car-sharing :
Why a car-sharing ?
Sharing the travel costs will save you some money.
Driving alone is not always funny, this is the opportunity to meet new Metalheads.
How can I find/propose a car-sharing ?
Offers and requests are added on "CAR SHARING" page
Once you've found a car sharing or a driver, inform us.

4. ENTRANCE

Where is the entrance ?
Main entrance is, when you are in front of the venue, on the left side.

I'm accreditated or already have my wristband, is the entrance the same than audience ?
YES : but 2 separated queues are foreseen

Can I enter/go outside like I want ?
YES, but limited at the festival's opening for security reasons.
What time doors open ? See time schedule (soon online).
5. CLOAKROOM/VESTIAIRE

Is there a cloakroom (vestiaire) at the fest ?
YES, like previous years, a cloakroom will be placed on the balcony.
What can I leave there ?
Everything you don't want to hold during the concerts : Bags, jackets, camping tent-material, ...
How does it work ?
You'll receive 1 ticket to keep preciously.

How much does it cost ? 1 euro per day.

Separated items : 1euro per item ! (gather all in 1 bag)
6. TICKETS

Ticket validation
For real ticket : at entrance by the Security/Steward.
For E-tickets : at the desk only !
VIP tickets : at the desk only !
Once wristband and/or laminate received, do I have to validate again my ticket at the entrance ?
NO
I lost the "voucher" of my ticket, is it still valid ?
NO. Without this, ticket is considered as validated.

7. Lost-found items

You've found something during the fest ?
Give it to the cloakroom/vestiaire responsible.

You've lost something during the fest ?
Go to the cloakroom/vestiaire, give a description of your item, maybe someone found it.

You've lost something but nobody found it during the fest ?
Contact us by e-mail, maybe we found it after the fest.
Note that if we have to send it by postmail, it will be at your own costs !
8. TICKETS (PRE)SALES

Regular Tickets (normal) :
Where do I buy my tickets ? Check this link "Tickets"
What this ticket provides ? Access to the festival (public area, no backstage).
X-Mas offer : (between December & January)
What does it consist in ?
Cheaper price (full line up is not known).
Combi ticket only.
Online service only !
"E-ticket*" is sent by e-mail. (*electronic ticket).
What is a combi ? A ticket giving access to the festival (full weekend).
VIP ticket
What it is : Festival ticket + Backstage pass (combi)

Which advantages :
Bands' meeting (photo and autographs facilities), seats and tables, free toilets, separated bar (no photopit access)
+ Lottery to win a professional photoshoot with a band. (20 persons)
+ A lot of goodies distributed.

Note that once any kind of ticket bought, it will not be refunded*. You'll have to find a buyer from your side.
* except in case of festival's cancellation.
9. WRISTBAND - LAMINATE

If I loose my wristband or laminate, what happen ?
It will NOT be replaced, once given you are responsible of any lost.

If you bought a COMBI ticket, you have to keep the same wristband for the whole weekend.
DON'T cut it by yourself, it will not be replaced.
10.TIME SCHEDULE / PROGRAM

Time schedule can be downloaded once the full line up is announced.
A program with time schedule and information is distributed by our Hostesses during the festival.
11. MERCH. STANDS

Which stand will you find at the festival ?

  • Bands merchandising
  • Festival merchandising
  • Sellers : Cds, clothes, jewels, etc ...
  • Food (outside) : fries, hamburgers, pasta, pitta, BBQ, ...
  • 12. VIP AREA
    (backstage area)

    Bands will come with pleasure to salute you or have a drink with you.
    Just respect some intimity moments.
    Drinks :
    This year will will propose again Bio products .
    Bio drinks: different juices, wine, special beers, sodas...
    Food : snacks (chocolate, chips) + sandwiches + soup ...
    13. ATM - MONEY WITHDRAW

    * You can find a cash machine / ATM at 500m from the venue. (!!! quickly empty)
    * You can find a lot of bank in Aalst.

    Note that some sellers (like Metalzone) have bancontact/Visa, but only for the stand.
    But we suggest you to bring enough cash for each day.
    14. SMOKING

    The Oktoberhallen is now a totally NON-SMOKING area !
